A shaman is “a man or a woman who enters an altered state of consciousness at will to contact and utilize an ordinarily hidden reality to acquire knowledge and power to help other persons and serve the community.” Michael Harner
Shamanism is an ancient healing tradition and a way of life. Archaeological evidence indicates that shamanism is at least 25,000 years old. Cave painting and sculptures show individuals transforming themselves into animals or healing people through rites and ceremonies. The word shaman originates from the Tungus tribe in Siberia. More specifically, it comes from the word ‘saman,’ which means “one who is excited, moved, raised.” Anthropologists coined this term and have used it to refer to the spiritual and ceremonial leaders among indigenous cultures worldwide. The word shamanism can be used to describe the ancient spiritual practices of these indigenous cultures. The Shaman connects with the spirit world, nature and all of creation. All ancient spiritual practices are rooted in nature, shamanism is the method by which we as human beings can strengthen that natural connection.
The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki which is "life force energy". Reiki is "spiritually guided life force energy."
Reiki is a Japanese technique and is used for stress reduction, relaxation, and to promote healing by helping to put the body back into its natural state. Reiki is administered by "laying on hands" where an unseen "life force energy" flows through the practitioner and into the client. We need Life force energy to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
A Reiki treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind, and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security, and wellbeing. Reiki also works with all other medical and therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery.
I often receive messages while doing Reiki on an individual. These can range from information about their body, thoughts, feelings to messages from spirit guides, angels, and loved ones. It is always the choice of the individual whether they would like me to pass these message on to them.
Etheric cords (sometimes referred to as ethereal cords, energy cords, and ribbons) are energy structures that connect to your energy bodies (aura, chakras, etc.). They extend out of you and connect with other people, places, animals and even objects.
How Do Etheric Cords Work?
When you connect with someone by interacting with them, thinking about them, or talking about them, you will create an etheric cord with them. Etheric cords can attach anywhere on your body and once connected; energetic information will travel through the pathway created by the cord. A person can also cord to you without your awareness. This can be harmful to your energetic body by draining your energy and can leave an open path for a psychic attack to occur.
Healthy etheric cords are essential for relationships and how we interact with our surroundings. Over time, the etheric cord strengthens. This makes it easier to pick up energetic information. However, there are times when etheric cords can be non-serving. What this means is that they no longer connect us positively with others, they start to be counterproductive.
An etheric cord between loved ones can also be thought of as a contract between the two people. When a relationship changes and becomes unhealthy a cord cutting can be done breaking the contract between the two people. At that point, the contract can be renegotiated.
The key is to maintain healthy cords and cut unhealthy cords. Learning how to protect your energic body is important to assist you in creating healthy relationships and in turn create and keep a healthy energetic body.
How Do I know If I have an Unhealthy Cording?
Ways to know if you have been corded could be if you are unable to stop thinking of someone. Have you ever felt a strong connection with someone, perhaps an ex, who is no longer in your life and was not good for you? There may also be times when you may feel drained when being around certain people.
Channeling & Mediumship
mediumship is about communicating with deceased loved ones, while channeling is often about receiving messages from other types of entities, such as Angels, nature spirits, spirit guides, Power Animals, etc.
There are channels messages come through commonly called "The Four Clairs"
Clairvoyance – clear seeing
an inner seeing, sometimes like pictures or a movie in the mind
Clairsentience – clear feeling
the ability to receive intuitive messages via feelings, emotions, or physical sensations
Clairaudience – clear hearing
the ability to hear physical sounds no one else can or hearing "thoughts in the mind
Claircognizance – clear knowing
That "gut" feeling where a person just knows information
I am able to hear, see, feel and know. Sometimes messages come through different channels depending on the entity or spirit I am communicating with.
House & Land Clearing
House and land clearing can be helpful if you have noticed odd events or “paranormal” events happening in or around your home and land. Sometimes spirits or souls are caught in the “in-between” and need assistance crossing over. Assisting a spirit in crossing over is the most compassionate thing that can be done.
There are many different reasons someone may get caught in the in-between. Loved one’s grief can hold them here, a traumatic death, unfinished business, they may not know they are deceased, soul loss, some type of healing may need to take place for them to cross over. There are other factors that may be involved the clearing of your land and home, different entities or spirits may be there for various reasons.
It is important to clear and balance the energy in your home to keep your space, family, and pets happy and healthy and to place a protective boundary around your home.
